We don’t only build for clients. We build and run our own software.

Clerke operates its own products — live, in production, with real users and real billing attached. That is an unusual thing for a web studio, and it changes the work: we have had to care about uptime, security, payments, and the awkward edge cases that only show up once strangers are using the thing.

You get the benefit of that whether you are buying a five-page website or a system your business runs on.

No retainers you can’t leave, no code you can’t take with you.

    We work out what you actually need

    A conversation, not a sales call. Sometimes the answer is a bigger project than you expected. Sometimes it is a much smaller one, and we will tell you that too.

    Fixed scope, quoted up front

    You get a written scope and a price before anything starts. If the work changes, we agree the change before it happens — no invoice arrives with a surprise on it.

    We build it, you see it as it goes

    You get a working link early and it stays up to date. Feedback lands while it is still cheap to change things, not after launch.

  4. 04

    You own everything at the end

    Domain, hosting, code, analytics, ad accounts — all in your name, all handed over. Nothing about our work makes you dependent on us.
